Guy Boursot
- The Wine Specialist
Guy Boursot is a well-respected expert in the world of wine. His family has been making wine in the village of Chambolle-Musigny in the Côte de Nuits of Burgundy since the 17th century.
Guy writes wine articles in magazines and UK websites and is a member of the Circle of Wine Writers. He is also a livery member of the Worshipful Company of Distillers as well as the Worshipful Company of Vintners, and in 1995 Guy was appointed Chairman of the Champagne Academy, the organisation that represents the generic interests of the Grande Marque Champagne Houses in the UK.
To quote one agency: “To hear Guy talk on Champagne or Burgundy particularly is to truly appreciate the knowledge and pleasure derived from centuries of wine-making.”
Over the last 30 years, Guy has worked in the wine business both in the UK and in France and has given well in excess of 1,000 talks, and has appeared on both radio and television and he is fortunate enough to attract a good number of demands for repeat talks. His style is informal, entertaining but informative.
